Restorative Justice and the Environment
First edition of the International Seminar on Restorative Justice and the Environment, August 2020, published by AJUFE
We are pleased to announce the publication of the volume Restorative Justice and the Environment, edited by Carla Boin, Joao Salm and Katia Roncada and published by the Associação dos Juízes Federais do Brasil (AJUFE). The work collects the considerations proposed at the first edition of the International Seminar on Restorative Justice and the Environment, which has been organized by the Associação dos Magistrados Brasileiros (AMB) and by the Associação dos Juízes Federais do Brasil (AJUFE) and took place online on 6th and 7th August 2020. The seminar has involved scholars from different countries of the world and the writings that arise from it question the role of restorative justice in the resolution of the conflicts arising from environmental matters through the involvement and the awareness-raising of the interested communities.
Grazia Mannozzi, Chiara Perini and Viola Molteni, of the Department of Law, Economics and Cultures of the University of Insubria, have had the honour to take part in the seminar and to contribute to the volume with a paper.
The volume can be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Center for Restorative Justice and Mediation of the University of Insubria, at this link.
